By understanding what their customer wants, engaging with current market trends and store policies these retail head office jobs are vital to securing the continued success and growth of a brand.
Retail merchandiser:
This position goes hand in hand with the retail buyers as the merchandisers are responsible for ensuring enough quantities of products appear in the correct stores at specific times. By working together with the buyers the merchandisers can plan stock levels, monitor performance and accurately predict new emerging trends. By looking at the financial budgets, the merchandiser is also responsible for working out how much of a particular product the company can buy and how much they can afford to sell it on for to make a profit.
